A homely pre school setting, enabling children aged 2-5 years to learn through play, with qualified, experienced staff on board

Learn

We follow the Early Years Foundation stage framework, for the learning and development of your child.

Play

At the heart of preschool is play, enabling social & cognitive skills to develop whilst having fun.

Grow

We work closely with the children and help their personalities and confidence to develop and thrive.

About Willow Tree Pre School

Our teachers sparkle with passion and enthusiasm delivering bespoke learning experiences for each individual child’s needs. We believe in the power of play, nurturing their little hands and big hearts, to enable them to grow their wings and fly off to the next stage of their learning journey.

Within our rooms, spaces are created for the children to try different activities and experience a wide range of stimulating tasks covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our garden is accessible through our main pre school room and the children are able to play outside rain or shine!

Every child is allocated a Key Worker, who spends time building a relationship, observing and monitoring the key developmental stages and being the point of contact for the parents / carers. External, qualified teachers also come into pre school on set days to carry out additional lessons; including Sports, Eco Warriors and Language classes, which the children really enjoy.

Meet The Team

Mrs Horsefield

In January 2015, i took over ownership and management at Willow Tree Pre School. The setting had been previously run by Mrs Kilmartin for several years and was based in a church hall on Cecil Road in Hale village.

After my first two years, the church was sold, so we relocated to our current location in the church on Woodlands parkway in Timperley/Altrincham.

I love my job at Willow Tree and am very passionate about the care and education provided for early years children.

COVID-19 UPDATE

We have taken the decision, following government guidelines, to temporarily close our setting until further notice.
If you are classed as a key worker, please contact Trafford to find a setting that can offer childcare during this time.
We hope everyone tales care and stays safe during this time, and we hope to be open again as soon as we can.
